I found out I needed to travel to Galway for work ASAP - and of course my passport had expired. I hadn't felt any urgency to renew it since I didn't have any immediate travel needs. Well now I did and several other peoples travel plans were now dependent on my passport arrival. My passport finally arrived on Thursday - ready for travel on Saturday!! Four weeks after expedited passport renewal service! Thank God work covers everything.
So what better excuse to buy a new digital camera (I look everywhere I can for good excuses to buy things!). I didn't have as much time outside of work as I would have liked but a I got a good picture of Iceland on the way home. More pictures to come with the new camera.
